Having raised four active girls in the United States, I spent much time struggling to find fashionable, comfortable, and convenient garments for my girls (in hijab) to wear. We wanted our children to feel comfortable participating in in-school and out-of-school activities while maintaining their strength of purpose and pride in their hijab and their Islamic heritage. Of course, the key was providing them with the obligatory knowledge of the Religion—that which would enable them to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. Our hope was that they would grow up to be well-grounded, active participants in their community, those who work in this life for the rewards in the Hereafter, and a good example for other Muslim girls to follow. Al-hamdulillah, Allah blessed us with that.

We believe that Muslim women in this country have a big role to play in their communities, positively advancing the da^wah effort in school, at home, and in the work force. And we believe that we can accomplish that task without removing our hijab. I have been designing scarves, prayer garments, active wear and others for my children for many years. We started our web-business about five years ago wanting to share some of our ideas with other Muslim women around the world, and hoping that providing easy access to suitable, fashionable, and comfortable designs would encourage Muslim women to keep to their hijab.
